1 ball of mozzarella
4 Large slices of bread without the crust
2 tablespoons Milk
1Bol of breadcrumbs
Drops of lemon juice
1-Cut the mozzarella ball into thick slices (about 1.5 cm).
2-Cut the bread so that the crumb slightly exceeds the slice of mozzarella (so that the edges can stick together).
3-Beat the eggs into an omelet in a large bowl with the milk and a pinch of salt.
4-Enclose a slice of mozzarella between two pieces of bread (with a little pepper) taking care to close the edges (you can press on the whole bread).
5-Dip the small sandwich in the beaten egg to soak it well. 6-Then put it in the breadcrumbs and coat it well. Do this with all the mozzarella slices.
7-Chill for 5 minutes then repeat: egg then breadcrumbs.
8-Heat the oil for frying and once hot, dip the mozzarella in carrozza (no more than two or three at a time) by turning them from time to time until they are golden brown. It takes at least 2 to 3 minutes for the mozzarella to melt inside.
9-Place on paper towels and let rest a few minutes before eating.
